This Oughta Be Interesting...

Like so many others out there, I have a passion for writing. It's my rest and my work, the seed of all my frustration, but also the core of my happiness. It is my greatest strength, and yet it scares me more than anything to sit down at the computer and watch those little black letters follow that little blinking cursor. To say that I live and breathe writing is an understatement: it is as a part of me as the very blood in my veins. I was born to write.

But... I have no idea what I'm doing!

So, welcome to Wolfram Writing, and I hope you are as excited as I am to get this thing going!

First Thing's First... It's you, the reader!

So, who would be interested in this blog? Who, exactly, am I writing for?

I am a writer for writers--- for those completely new to the hobby, and those a little further along, like me; those who have no idea what they're doing, and those who have some more experience and may even be published! If you find your happiness in penning short stories, full-length novels, poems and even reading any of the beforementioned, this blog is for you!

What Will This Blog Be About?

I'll post about my experiences and struggles with writing, the fears I have, and the words of encouragement that have carried me through. I've been writing for years and I've learned a few things along the way--- so the tips I have, I'll offer to you!

Writing, especially with certain POVs, can be extremely tricky. I'll help you learn what to look out for and how to resolve the issues of various point-of-views, descriptions, character/world building & naming, and so much more! This is a love of mine, and I want to share it with you!

How often will I post?

As often as I can and when I have something to say.

Life is bound by no rules--- plans change, ideas fly out the window, sleep just doesn't come the way you want it to--- which is very important ;) and all of that affects my writing. (Plus, sometimes, there's this whole writer's block thing)!

My favorite author/blogger (Laura Frances) said the way of unplanned writing is called "pantsing" since we write by the "seat of our pants." This is me to the core!

I love the idea of planning and getting certain things done within a set timeframe and trust me I have TRIED, but I just CAN'T! So, unfortunately, there will be no schedule or well-thought-out timeline of blog topics.

Don't panic, though! My obsession with writing will probably have me posting often, so stay tuned!

Final Words (For Now)...

This journey of mine has been years in the making. To see it finally start coming to life is both an exciting and a terrifying thing, but I am so ready, and I hope you are, as well. This path hasn't been easy, and there have been so many times that I've felt discouraged and wanted to give up, but all good things come to those who persevere. When you find your passion, invest yourself like never before, and give it all you got! Your dreams are never too far out of reach.
